Some key highlights of the 2005-06 Employment Report:

  • The median base salary for graduates increased $5,000 from 2004-05 to $95,000.

  • 22% of the Class of 2006 accepted positions in the consulting function, an increase of five percentage points over the Class of 2005.

  • 23% of graduates reported accepting an offer in the financial services industry.

  • 30% of the Class of 2006 accepted full-time positions from their summer internship employer.

  • Over a quarter of graduates from the Class of 2006 settled in the northeastern United States
