Duke University and The Fuqua School of Business prepare students and professionals to operate in an ever-changing, increasingly undefined, environment where distinctions between business, policy, health care and the larger world we live in are increasingly fading away.

Fuqua offers the following concurrent degree (also known as joint degree) options for students who wish to augment their business education with specialized training in another field:

Juris Doctor (JD) Duke University School of Law
Master of Environmental Management (MEM) Nicholas School of the Environment
Master of Forestry (MF)  Nicholas School of the Environment
Master of Public Policy (MPP)  Terry Sanford Institute of Public Policy
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)  Duke University School of Nursing

Offered by Duke University School of Medicine and The Fuqua School of Business

Duke's world-class educational offerings in both medicine and business provide aspiring medical doctors a valuable opportunity to gain deep knowledge of business while earning a medical degree.

Offered by The Nicholas School of the Environment and The Fuqua School of Business

These programs prepare students to address sustainable enterprise from a position of expertise in business and environmental topics.  Students complete the MEM/MBA or MF/MBA program in three years, in contrast with four years required to complete the two degrees independently.

Offered by Duke University School of Law and The Fuqua School of Business

Business and law are intricately related, with each field affecting the other in deep and meaningful ways.

The JD/MBA program allows students to earn degrees in both fields in only four years.  Students engage in cross-disciplinary study, which gives them the tools to pursue careers in legal and business professions.

Offered by Duke University School of Nursing and The Fuqua School of Business

This joint degree program allows students to pursue advanced nursing training while gaining deep understanding of business.  Graduates are able to use their skills in a range of professional settings - whether applying business skills to health care delivery, or working in a business setting and drawing upon front-line health care experience.

Offered by The Sanford Institute of Public Policy and The Fuqua School of Business

This three-year program allows students to pursue advanced study of business and policy, and develop unique insights into the ways each influences the other.  Graduates are uniquely qualified to pursue careers requiring a comprehensive knowledge of the intersection of commerce and policy.
