Admission Deadlines
Unlike many university programs in Germany, the Duke Goethe Executive MBA program divides the admission process into three distinct rounds. The three-round system offers advantages for applicants and for program administrators. One of the primary benefits is that qualified applicants who apply by the date of the first or second round will learn of their admission decision within four to six weeks of the each application deadline. This early notification will give admitted students more time to prepare academically, professionally and personally.
Application deadlines are:
- Round 1 - October 8, 2007
- Round 2 - December 3, 2007
- Round 3 - February 4, 2008 *** extended to April 14, 2008
When To Apply
It is to your advantage to apply as early as is reasonable, in order to give yourself the longest possible time to prepare both academically and professionally. If you are at all concerned about your quantitative readiness for the next class, you should not apply in the final deadline round, since the late deadline may not allow for adequate quantitative assessment and preparation. Typically, you will receive a decision within four to six weeks after the application deadline if your application was properly submitted.
The admissions office requires every applicant to establish an accessible e-mail account before submitting an application, as e-mail is the most efficient way for the admissions office to communicate quickly with applicants. Please include your e-mail address in the blank provided on the application.
Applications will be accepted after the final deadlines on a space available basis.
