DURHAM, N.C. - After
two years of balancing graduate school with careers and family life,
106 members of The Duke MBA - Weekend Executive class of 2001 at
The Fuqua School of Business will receive their degrees during a
1 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 14 in Page Auditorium on Duke University's
West Campus. The 106 graduates come from 17 states, from North Carolina
to California, and one foreign country.
Robert Ingram, chief operating officer and president,
pharmaceutical operations at GlaxoSmithKline, will give the commencement
address.
The Duke MBA - Weekend Executive program is designed
for middle-to-upper level managers who attend classes on Friday
and Saturday of alternate weekends for 20 months. The first Duke
MBA - Weekend Executive class graduated in 1984 and new classes
enter each January.
