Fuqua Lifetime E-mail Address

All alumni of Duke's Fuqua School of Business may set up a Fuqua lifetime e-mail address. Alumni from the Class of 2004 and subsequent classes were assigned a Fuqua lifetime e-mail address as students. Alumni from classes prior to 2004 may activate their Fuqua lifetime e-mail addresses at any time. To activate your Fuqua lifetime e-mail address or to update the target e-mail account to which the address forwards, update your profile in Fuqua's alumni directory.

If you are a current student, please note that your lifetime e-mail address is set to forward to your student e-mail account (you@duke.edu). You may not change the e-mail account to which this address forwards until after graduation.

Duke Lifetime E-mail Address

The Duke Alumni Association offers all alumni of the university a Duke lifetime e-mail address. E-mail sent to this address will forward to the e-mail address you choose. Your lifetime e-mail address also enrolls you in the online Duke Alumni Directory .

Tips for Using a Lifetime E-mail Address

• How do I send from my lifetime e-mail address? Because a lifetime e-mail address is just an address rather than an e-mail account, you cannot send messages from your lifetime e-mail address. However, some e-mail clients allow you to adjust your settings to display an alternate "from" or "reply-to" address.
• How can I improve deliverability to my lifetime e-mail address? When you set the forwarding on your lifetime e-mail address, always route your e-mail account. Do not forward your lifetime e-mail to another forwarding address or account. This creates multiple loops that raise red flags with spam filters. If you experience problems receiving mail through your lifetime e-mail address, check your spam filter and adjust your filter settings accordingly.
• How can I reduce spam messages through my lifetime e-mail address? Like all major universities and corporations, Duke University works diligently and aggressively to fight spam attacks on its e-mail systems, including the lifetime e-mail system.
