Leading in Times of Uncertainty
February 26, 2009
Weathering the ups and downs of the current global financial crisis is critical to any organization's survival, and the ability to lead through traditional and new challenges is key. To explore the leadership implications of the current economic crisis, Duke University's Fuqua/Coach K Center on Leadership & Ethics (COLE) invites you attend the 8th Annual Fuqua School of Business & Coach K Leadership Conference, October 19-21, 2009. The conference theme is "Leading in Times of Uncertainty."
The conference will provide a leadership toolkit for leading through today's new challenges. Conference topics include:
- How to lead through crisis and how to turn a team around
- How to help your team members understand and make sense of the environment so the organization is prepared to identify and seize opportunities when they arise
- How to lead a mutigenerational work force
- How to lead across boundaries -- whether they are geographical, cultural, or generational
- What the financial crisis can teach us about creating a more ethically sound organization
