Duke MBA Alumni Career Transition Services in Partnership with Lee Hecht Harrison

October 17, 2008

The Fuqua School of Business is pleased to announce an innovative partnership with Lee Hecht Harrison to provide career transition support for Duke MBA alumni.

Lee Hecht Harrison (www.lhh.com) is one of the largest and most respected firms in the career services industry with over 200 offices in thirty-six countries. Specializing in career transition, career development, and leadership consulting since 1974, Lee Hecht Harrison has assisted hundreds of thousands of people in their search for work or a career change.

These programs have been carefully designed to provide support to the varying needs of Duke MBA alumni. Career transition services, such as the ones offered through this partnership, have been proven to help individuals move successfully both inside and outside of their organization. Please note that LHH partnership activities supplement the alumni career services already provided by Fuqua and do not replace those resources in any way.

Please consider which site is most convenient and can provide the job market intelligence of most value to you. Visit www.lhh.com/officelocator/ to find the office most appropriate for your needs.

Outside the U.S., we are currently working through details to offer this service first in the Singapore/China and India markets. This list will be expanded over time to reflect Fuqua's increasingly global alumni footprint, but will unfold on a slightly slower timeline due to the complexity involved with setting up each additional location. We will keep you advised as to our progress.

Getting started is simple!

1. Call toll-free to 1-800-948-7208 (Virginia) or 1-866-917-5628 (North Carolina) and identify yourself as an alumnus of Duke University's Fuqua School of Business. For those located in Virginia or North Carolina, please use the number specified; either is fine for alumni living outside these states.

2. Select the career transition program you would like to purchase.

3. A Lee Hecht Harrison representative will ask for your contact information and e-mail you a service contract and payment information form. Complete and return this form.

4. Upon receipt, you will be contacted within twenty-four hours to set up an appointment with your career coach.

We are excited to unveil these important new offerings, especially amid these challenging economic times, and we look forward to hearing from you! Please contact Sheryle Dirks, Associate Dean for Career Management, at sheryle.dirks@duke.edu with any questions about the Duke MBA partnership with Lee Hecht Harrison.
