Happy Birthday!

Each month, FuquaNet recognizes the alumni whose birthdays fall on the issue's publication date. We asked the alumni celebrating a birthday today (February 17), "Where are you now?" Here's what they said:

Sumaiya Choudhury, Cross Continent MBA 2007
After two years in London, I've followed my inner warmth to Singapore where I have run credit risk for commodities at Standard Chartered Bank since 2010. I am enjoying the sunny red dot island and exploring the region's endless diving sites with my fellow alumni husband, Alex (G '08), and afternoon beach runs with two kids, Bellena and Luca, who are of the canine variety.

Andy Hooper, Global Executive MBA 2005
I'm working for Gap International (consulting firm), and although I'm living outside Philadelphia, I'm working on growth initiatives with companies in South Africa and Latin America, as well as the U.S. Our focus is on accelerating growth and increasing performance in organizations by reframing thinking and shifting the mindset. It's a dynamic and exciting journey!

Frank Lewis, Daytime MBA 1979
I live in Atlanta, Georgia, with my wife, Heidi, and our two children, Isabel (15) and Ian (13).  After graduating from Fuqua, I joined Price Waterhouse where I remained in consulting until we sold our practice to IBM in 2002. I am currently a partner in IBM's Global Business Services Energy & Utilities Consulting Practice. I assist our clients in implementing the Smart Grid, which will revolutionize electric distribution and energy management around the globe while enabling utilities' customers to actively manage their electricity consumption and costs.

I am living in Boston and working for a small software company.

I am living in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania (about an hour and a half from Manhattan), and am married to Ramlah and have four children, Zahra (18), Shabbir (16), Alefiyah (9) and Taha (8). I currently manage a medical practice and can be reached at mv7860@gmail.com.
