Happy Birthday!

Each month, FuquaNet recognizes the alumni whose birthdays fall on the issue's publication date. We asked the alumni celebrating a birthday today (May 17), "Where are you now?" Here's what they said:

Dennis Curtin, Weekend Executive MBA 1990
I'm traveling in Europe, from Amsterdam to Bucharest during the month of May, and will be in Vienna on my birthday. Cheers to the WEMBA '90 class.

Gary Davis, Evening Executive MBA 1991
I have been living and working in Atlanta for the past 26 years, and to commemorate a big birthday this month, I have recently started my own business, CMIT Solutions of Atlanta, to serve the IT needs of small- and medium-sized businesses. CMIT Solutions has more than 140 locally-owned offices providing network, security, backup and other IT services. Kris Marino, Daytime MBA 1989
I am Chief Operating Officer of Worldwide Orphans Foundation, a nonprofit organization that provides programs and services to children in orphanages around the world. I live in Madison, NJ, with my three daughters, all of whom are Blue Devil fans, and am currently training for my first half ironman triathlon.

Marika Schwartzman, Daytime MBA 2000
I am living in Boston and have been working for the last three years in Treasury at New Balance Athletic Shoe. When I am not working, my one-year old son, Rylan, keeps me very busy!

Robert Scott, Daytime MBA 2003
I am now living in Atlanta with my wife, Eve, and wonderful children, Alyssa (4) and Austin (1). I work for The Weather Channel in the Financial Planning and Analysis team supporting the digital business. When I am not working, I am playing tennis and loving life in Atlanta, GA.

Kevin Scotto, Daytime MBA 1995
Meghan and I are still based in Charlotte, NC. I am a Director in Non-Investment Grade Debt Capital Markets at Wells Fargo Securities, focused on financing for energy companies, and Meghan is an HR Partner for Diebold. We are looking forward to a trip to Ireland next week.

Ken Tomei, Daytime MBA 2009
Steph and I are still living in Philadelphia, where we've been since graduation. I'm a Project Leader with The Boston Consulting Group, and Steph continues to work remotely for a medical device company in San Francisco. Our daughter, Colbie, will be celebrating her first birthday in a few weeks and is already a big Blue Devils fan - GO DUKE!

Whitney Vogler, Daytime MBA 2008
I am living in Manhattan and am still working at Kraft Foods; now as the Brand Manager on Global Oreo, a position where I get to travel the world to talk about cookies! I am engaged and planning a wedding for October 2013 in NYC, where several Fuqua alums will be in attendance!
