Fuqua's goal is to provide alumni career services that empower you to define, attain, and manage your career goals. We hope to supplement your career decision-making and development efforts by offering resources, including recommendations for external fee-based career counselors, to help you pursue your career objectives and meet the demands of a diverse, global marketplace.

Our alumni career services are directed and managed by Ryan Smith, Program Director for Executive MBA & Alumni Career Services. Ryan is supported by a network of career professionals both at Fuqua and at other external organizations. If you need career support, please e-mail the Duke MBA Career Management Center at alumni-careers@fuqua.duke.edu

Regional and Virtual Career Workshops

Fuqua will be hosting a series of in-person and virtual career sessions over the course of the 2009-2010 year. Advance registration is required for these events. You will receive instructions for accessing the online sessions in advance of the workshop. New topics and dates will be announced soon.

Previous Career Workshop Materials

Since network restrictions can often cause problems connecting to the recorded session we strongly encourage you to run a Centra system check if you experience difficulty by going to the following link http://centra.fuqua.duke.edu and clicking on "System Check" just below the words The Fuqua School of Business at the top of the page. The system check will identify if there are any browser, network, or audio problems that will prevent you from viewing the session. For further technical assistance in accessing the recorded sessions, please e-mail centra-support@fuqua.duke.edu .

As we plan in-person programming, our greatest constraint is finding appropriate classroom or meeting space that is affordable and accessible. Please consider volunteering your company, local university, or community space for Fuqua alumni programming. If you have space to share, please e-mail Katie Thomasson, Associate Director of Alumni Relations, at katie.thomasson@duke.edu .

Duke Alumni Career Conversations

Alumni Career Conversations are online lunchtime discourses between Bill Wright-Swadel, executive director of the Duke Career Center, and a key alumna/us in a given field. The best part about these webinars is that you may submit your questions and have them answered by experts, live. All conversations will take place from noon – 1 p.m. EST.
