Get out your business cards! Join us for the 6th multi-city DukeGEN Networking Event! (Afterwards, stick around and watch the Duke Men's Basketball Team take on the Clemson Tigers! The game starts at 8:00pm, Central.) The goal of Duke Global Entrepreneurship Network is to be a sophisticated and active network that helps create debate, dialogue, and lucky encounters between Duke entrepreneurs. We are providing the energy and coordination to encourage Duke entrepreneurs, around the globe, to connect and increase their chances of success. The DukeGEN Austin event is open to all Duke alumni, Duke entrepreneurs, Duke parents, and their friends and family. Spread the word! On November 17th, DukeGEN be hosting their 5th multi-city networking events. The DukeGEN Happy Hour in Austin is one of more than ten Happy Hours taking place around the country and around the world. The purpose of the event is to promote lucky encounters between Duke entrepreneurs. This month, we will be joined by 3 Duke alumni entrepreneurs who will speak briefly about their experiences starting their own businesses, followed by a short Q&A session: Lyda Creus Molanphy (Trinity '88) - President of Connections Consulting; Mark Roche (Trinity '89) - Managing Director of Techquity Capital Management; Tom Rhodes (Trinity '91)- CEO of Sente Mortgage. Speakers will start promptly at 6:45.

The Austin happy hour is one of seven DukeGEN gatherings taking place across the country and around the world on Nov. 17th. DukeGEN helps provide the energy and coordination to encourage Duke entrepreneurs, around the globe, to connect and increase their chances of success. Fuqua alumni are invited to a joint Austin MBA-club happy hour on Wednesday November 19th at Molotov (upstairs, presuming the weather permits - otherwise downstairs). Molotov Happy Hour runs from 4-9p ($2 domestic bottled beer and $1 off everything else). Feel free to invite other MBA friends and bring along significant others.
