Professor Keeney is a world-renowned Fuqua research professor of decision sciences. In his talk Insights from Decision Science to Help You Make Better Decisions, he will outline a systematic way to think through complex decisions. He will discuss and illustrate several shortcomings of relying on intuition alone for important decisions and suggest how you can complement intuition with ideas and techniques from decision science. Decision science is concerned with helping individuals and organizations make better decisions. This is important because the only way that you can purposefully influence the quality of your life, your family, your organization, your country, or your world is through the decisions you make.
