New Alumni Happy Hour, September 24, 2008

On September 24, the Duke Alumni Club will have a happy hour to welcome new Duke alumni to the Twin City area.  All Duke and Fuqua alumni are invited.  More information will be available once we confirm the bar.

MIT Speaker Event, September 25, 2008

The MIT Club of MN is pleased to present our fall signature club event on Thursday, Sept. 25th at the University of St. Thomas in downtown Minneapolis that is offered for MIT alums, Ivy+ alums, MBA alums, and their guests.  In true MIT style, we are welcoming the chair of the MIT physics department, Dr. Edmund Bertschinger, who will speak on “Dark Energy: The Greatest Mystery in the Universe.”  I have heard that Dr. Bertschinger is a fantastic speaker.

Please invite your members to this event – we would be honored to include a broad audience for this special event with Dr. Bertschinger.  Note that the “Ivy +” ticket price is $25.  Since space is limited to 150, the event will close when 150 registrations are received.

Should there be any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Karin Roof at karin_roof@ml.com, 651-298-1763, or event organizer Ross Meisner at ross@dymedex.com,  763-670-7677.
