For those who live/work in Scottsdale/North Phoenix or up for the drive, we will meet at Dave & Buster's in Desert Ridge Market Place for the Sweet 16 game against Villanova. If you haven't been there before, it is a great place to watch games with 3 very large screens and over 20 TVs around the main room. The bar and food are very decent as well. You are invited to attend a panel discussion: Entrepreneurship in the Valley ~ Opportunities and Challenges in the Current Economic Environment. The panel of six local thought leaders and successful entrepreneurs will engage in a dynamic discussion covering the state of entrepreneurship from all angles: startup ideas for today?s economy, funding, growth, M&A opportunities, and challenges specific to the Phoenix area.
There are a number of ways to get involved with Fuqua Alumni Club of Phoenix:
- Make sure your contact information is up to date in the alumni directory . In order to receive information via e-mail about activities in your region, your contact information must be current. Fuqua alumni are invited to club activities based on their city of residence or employment. Are you only planning to be in Phoenix temporarily? E-mail the Alumni Relations office , and we can make sure you are on the club's e-mail distribution list.
- Offer to host an alumni event at your business, home, or work place.
- Get involved with club leadership.
- Suggest events and ideas for activities you'd like to see in your city.
- Recommend a personal or professional speaker or make a presentation yourself.
