Members of the Media, Entertainment & Sports (MES) Club, have organized a Week-In-Cities trip to visit several companies and meet with recruiters during the week between terms. We're also aiming to learn about what it's like to live and work in the Portland area and would love to hear about your experience over some casual drinks and conversation at a Fuqua Alumni Happy Hour!

Fuqua Alumni will be meeting for a happy hour! In addition Fuqua students who are in the area for their summer internship are also invited to the party before they head back for second year. So, please mark your calendar and come out to the meet up on Thursday.

It is that time of year to show our school spirit, catch up with some friends we haven't seen in awhile, meet some new friends, and watch Duke take on Maryland. The Fuqua Club of Portland will have a special section and appetizers just for the group, so please mark your calendars and come join us for a 6pm tip off.

The Georgetown Alumni Club of Portland has graciously extended an invitation to Duke alumni in Portland to join them for a basketball game watch on Saturday, January 30th starting at 10am at Macadam?s Bar and Grill. Put on your blue and head over to support our team. It should be a fun time with several big screens broadcasting the game.

Our annual game watch is fast approaching - Duke vs. North Carolina on Wednesday, February 11th and this is one you don't want to miss. We have found a great location for the game watch that is even kid friendly (The Agency in Portland). We have a special room dedicated to our group that has its own bar and seating with big screens throughout. Here are some extra goodies...
- There is a special room downstairs that is kid friendly and will be set up with some Wiis and XBoxs for the little ones.
- The Duke Alumni Club will also be joining us so even more Blue Devils in attendance.

It?s that time of year again! Portland alumni are invited to get together to watch Duke vs. Purdue in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge on Tuesday, Dec. 2nd. The game starts at 6pm PST.

There are a number of ways to get involved with Fuqua Alumni Club of Portland:
- Make sure your contact information is up to date in the alumni directory . In order to receive information via e-mail about activities in your region, your contact information must be current. Fuqua alumni are invited to club activities based on their city of residence or employment. Are you only planning to be in Portland temporarily? E-mail the Alumni Relations office , and we can make sure you are on the club's e-mail distribution list.
- Offer to host an alumni event at your business, home, or work place.
- Get involved with club leadership.
- Suggest events and ideas for activities you'd like to see in your city.
- Recommend a personal or professional speaker or make a presentation yourself.
