Description
Just as the summer is starting to wind down - an opportunity for a great club gathering has come our way. We would like to invite everyone to a happy hour celebration with Fuqua's Dean Blair Sheppard. This will be a great chance to have a casual event with fellow Dukies while getting a chance to get to know the dean of Fuqua. Appetizers will be provided - Adult guests are welcome.

Description
It is a common misconception that "all the hard work is done" once one finds that great job or position. However, managing ones career and profile is equally, if not more, important - especially during turbulent economic times such as the ones we are witnessing. Join Ryan Smith, Program Director of Executive MBA and Alumni Career Services, for an interactive seminar about managing your career. In addition, learn about wealth of career resources available to alumni from Fuqua.
There are a number of ways to get involved with Fuqua Alumni Club of Richmond:
- Make sure your contact information is up to date in the alumni directory . In order to receive information via e-mail about activities in your region, your contact information must be current. Fuqua alumni are invited to club activities based on their city of residence or employment. Are you only planning to be in Richmond temporarily? E-mail the Alumni Relations office , and we can make sure you are on the club's e-mail distribution list.
- Offer to host an alumni event at your business, home, or work place.
- Get involved with club leadership.
- Suggest events and ideas for activities you'd like to see in your city.
- Recommend a personal or professional speaker or make a presentation yourself.
