Description
Duke Alums Engage is a new program being launched by the Duke Alumni Association in 20 cities. Learn the principles of service learning through this nationwide program that will take community service to a new level.
Notes
On November 7, the Duke Club of Puget Sound will be volunteering with Treehouse For Kids by sorting and tagging clothes and other donated items in the "Wearhouse" which is the free store for the foster kids. This project is in conjunction with the national Duke Alums Engage volunteer week, wherein Duke clubs all over the country are reaching out to assist in their communities with a variety of projects designed to promote civic engagement.

You and a guest are invited to the September Seattle Business School Alliance (SBSA) Happy Hour taking place on Thursday, September 3rd from 5pm - 8pm. Visit with fellow alumni and preview Enso, one of Seattle?s newest luxury condominium residences, while enjoying spectacular city and Lake Union views. Beverages and hors d'oeuvres will be served in the community room and roof terrace while champagne and dessert will be served in one of the exclusive penthouses.

Member schools periodically sponsor events that are open to attendees outside the alumni of that specific school, and in those instances they invite the broader SBSA membership to attend. The SBSA itself also organizes and sponsors regular networking and educational events.

There are a number of ways to get involved with Fuqua Alumni Club of Seattle:
- Make sure your contact information is up to date in the alumni directory . In order to receive information via e-mail about activities in your region, your contact information must be current. Fuqua alumni are invited to club activities based on their city of residence or employment. Are you only planning to be in Seattle temporarily? E-mail the Alumni Relations office , and we can make sure you are on the club's e-mail distribution list.
- Offer to host an alumni event at your business, home, or work place.
- Get involved with club leadership.
- Suggest events and ideas for activities you'd like to see in your city.
- Recommend a personal or professional speaker or make a presentation yourself.
