Get out your business cards! On November 15th, 2012, we'll be hosting the 11th DukeGEN Multi-city Networking Event. The DukeGEN Networking Events provide a chance for entrepreneurial-minded Duke alumni to meet one another. They happen three times a year, and are voluntarily organized by Duke alumni, for Duke alumni, students, faculty and staff.

Duke Alums Engage is a new program being launched by the Duke Alumni Association in 20 cities. Learn the principles of service learning through this nationwide program that will take community service to a new level.
Notes
On November 7, the Duke Club of Puget Sound will be volunteering with Treehouse For Kids by sorting and tagging clothes and other donated items in the "Wearhouse" which is the free store for the foster kids. This project is in conjunction with the national Duke Alums Engage volunteer week, wherein Duke clubs all over the country are reaching out to assist in their communities with a variety of projects designed to promote civic engagement.

- Make sure your contact information is up to date in the alumni directory . In order to receive information via e-mail about activities in your region, your contact information must be current. Fuqua alumni are invited to club activities based on their city of residence or employment. Are you only planning to be in Seattle temporarily? E-mail the Alumni Relations office , and we can make sure you are on the club's e-mail distribution list.
- Offer to host an alumni event at your business, home, or work place.
- Get involved with club leadership.
- Suggest events and ideas for activities you'd like to see in your city.
- Recommend a personal or professional speaker or make a presentation yourself.
