Join local alumni from Duke's Fuqua School of Business, UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, and N.C. State Poole College of Management for a Triangle business school alumni mixer. We'll meet at Fullsteam Brewery, owned and operated by a Fuqua alum, for an evening of networking and connecting with a wide variety of business people. The cost of the evening includes a beer (or a non-alcoholic beverage) and melts from American Meltdown. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.

Duke alums James Voltz (Graduate School 04), Certified Sommelier and Partner at Bond Street Wines, and Glenn Seitchek (Fuqua 90), Owner of Cork & Tap Distributors, will lead a tasting of French and Italian wines carefully paired with several courses of hors d'oeuvres. As importers, distributors, retailers, and sommeliers, Glenn and James are intimately familiar with many aspects of the wine business. Fuqua alumni in the Triangle are invited the November Happy Hour which will be held at Fullsteam Brewery in Durham. Fullsteam's Founder & Chief Executive Optimist, Sean Lilly Wilson (Fuqua '00), will talk with alumni and take you on a tour of the brewery. Sean founded and led both Pop The Cap and Permit Beer, two beer lobbying organizations that have opened up economic markets to North Carolina's craft beer industry. He holds both an MBA and Master of Public Policy from Duke University.

There are a number of ways to get involved with Fuqua Alumni Club of the Triangle:
- Make sure your contact information is up to date in the alumni directory . In order to receive information via e-mail about activities in your region, your contact information must be current. Fuqua alumni are invited to club activities based on their city of residence or employment. Are you only planning to be in the Triangle temporarily? E-mail the Alumni Relations office , and we can make sure you are on the club's e-mail distribution list.
- Offer to host an alumni event at your business, home, or work place.
- Get involved with club leadership.
- Suggest events and ideas for activities you'd like to see in your city.
- Recommend a personal or professional speaker or make a presentation yourself.
