Asian Civilisation Museum - Special guided tour through the Nalanda Trail exhibit on the spread of Buddhism through Asia!, March 16, 2008
Did you know that Cornell has one of the top history departments in the U.S.? Come join Prof. Bruce Lockhart, BA and Ph.D. in History from Cornell, now professor at NUS in SE Asia history, for an casual guided tour through the Nalanda Trail exhibit. This is a very special exhibit, the first time some very unique Buddhist artifacts have left India, and we are very lucky to have a such an expert provide us with our own guided walk through the superb displays.
Join Cornell's Asian Alumni Club Leaders who are in town (from China, India, HK, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand) for this leisurely Sunday afternoon of arts, culture and history, a true Pan-Asia event!

The Boat Race Regatta – An Oxbridge-DUAL Challenge Event, March 29, 2008
The President and Committee of the Oxford and Cambridge Society of Singapore We would like to invite DUAL members to participate and compete in the The Boat Race Regatta. This is a drinking event on the late evening of 29th March 2008.
Date: Sat 29th March
Time: 11:45pm to 1:35am (race at 1:15am to 1:35am)
Venue: Boat Quay
The exact venue and timing is being confirmed by E-mail and SMS on the night. The Boat Quay Event includes live ESPN video feed of the Boat Race. Please register via E-mail with: Name, College, DUAL university, mobile number. Drinks will be paid on consumption. There is no charge for the event but registration is essential so that respective college and university boat teams can compete for honour and victory!
