We asked alumni celebrating a birthday on February 20, "Where are you now?" Here's what they said:
Hiro Hammamoto, Daytime MBA '91
I live in Chiba, suburban Tokyo area managing a small business. I wish another good year for Fuqua and Duke.
Stephen Seabolt, Daytime MBA '06
I'm enjoying life in Atlanta, and after almost eight years at Coca-Cola, I've just joined a "social venture consulting" team as the marketing lead. We'll work with Fortune 500s to build new brands/ventures that create social good and financial profit. I'm also trying to learn from Coach K as I coach 1st grade hoops.
Sasha Mentasti Shanley, Daytime MBA '00
I have been working at Fidelity Investments now for almost 10 years, and my current role is driving online sales for Fidelity.com. I have twins - my miracles, Ella and Eamon (both 3) - that keep me unbelievably busy and outrageously happy! I've enjoyed staying in Boston, finding it's a good balance between getting to the mountains of Vermont and still finding a beach when I need some sun. It is hard to believe it has been almost 14 years since hanging out at Fuqua!
Jessa Sprenkle, Cross Continent MBA '12
I continue to maintain the hectic lifestyle of a health care IT consultant for Cumberland Consulting Group while embracing the CCMBA spirit with regular international travel and lots of laughs with my fellow future leaders of consequence - Shaliz Afshar, Desiree Stahley, and Michelle Lin.
Jue Wang, Daytime MBA '05
I currently reside in Bloomfield Hills, MI, work in the automotive business and am actively involved in alumni interviewing for local high school students who apply for Duke University, as well as local charity events that help raise awareness about the Metro Detroit Area.
