The following individuals have volunteered to support and advise the school as members of the Alumni Council for the 2012-2013 year. Led by Lynne Kaye '82, Chair, and Liz Crute '95, Vice Chair, the council meets twice each year.

Haskett, Bill

Class of '78
Deloitte Consulting, Senior Manager

Bill Haskett currently works for Deloitte Consulting LLP, where he is a Senior Manager in their Federal Practice, providing financial consulting to clients within the Department of Defense. Previously Bill retired as a Captain, in the U.S. Navy Supply Corps, after 27 years of service.  In the Navy his assignments included Comptroller for the Naval Shipyards and Supervisor of Shipbuilding, and Comptroller of the United States Pacific Command, in addition to financial positions within the Naval Air Systems Command, the Naval Sea Systems Command, the Naval Supply Systems Command, and the Office of the Navy Comptroller (ASN (FM&C)). Before joining Deloitte, Bill was with American Management Systems as a Senior Principal, and then jointed SAIC where he was a Vice President. His undergraduate degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara, was in mathematics and economics. He also attended the Executive Program at the University of Michigan and the Industrial College of the Armed Forces at the National Defense University.

Hayes, Steve

Class of '03
The Walt Disney Company, Manager, CRM & Direct Marketing

Steve currently manages Global Relationships and Annual Passholder communications for Disney Destinations' CMR team, developing CRM & direct marketing strategies. He recently relocated back to Orlando, FL, after spending four years at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA. He has lead a variety of marketing programs for various celebrations and product launches during his career at Disney.

Steve graduated from SUNY Buffalo with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and went to work for General Electric in their Manufacturing Management Program. He held a variety of positions on and off GE's development program specializing in productivity and process improvement. In 1998 he joined Walt Disney World's Industrial Engineering department and eventually lead a team supporting various departments at Disney from call center operations, costuming, textile services, and resort operations. After completing his MBA in Fuqua's Cross Continent Program in 2003, he changed careers at Disney, joined the CMR team, and developed expertise in database and e-mail marketing. He has managed a wide range of programs from highly customized 1:1 communications to more traditional direct marketing programs driving lead generation, lead conversion, and guest relationships. Steve has been active in Duke regional clubs and looks forward to increasing alumni engagement as a member of the Fuqua Alumni Council.

Healey, John

Class of '92
Johnson & Johnson Consumer Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) region , President, Strategy and Operations

John M. Healey is currently the President, Strategy & Operations for the Johnson & Johnson Consumer Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) region working out of both New Brunswick, NJ and Zug, Switzerland.  He has been with J&J for 20 years in many different roles and geographies, mostly in General Management, Marketing, Business Development, Integration Leadership, Operations, and New Ventures.  He has lived and worked in Montreal, Canada; Paris, France; and Princeton, NJ over the past several years.  

John joined J&J after graduating with an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business in 1992.  He and his wife Carolyn Ryan (Fuqua MBA '91) have volunteered for many Duke and Fuqua activities over the past several years, including being President of Montreal Fuqua Club, interviewing for Duke Admissions in both Princeton and Paris, participating in the European Duke/Fuqua Alumni Leadership conferences, being a co-chair for our 5-year and 20-year Fuqua reunions, and being members of the Isle Maligne society. 

John & Carolyn are currently relocating back to Princeton, NJ after three years in Paris, France and have two daughters (Julia, Duke class of 2016 and Helen, a freshman at Princeton Day School).

Henry, Heather

Class of '99
Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc.,

Heather Bannister Henry is a seasoned strategy professional with experience in management consulting, business and policy analysis, integrated marketing communications and information technology for Fortune 500 and Federal government executives. Ms. Henry currently works for Booz Allen Hamilton in their headquarters office in McLean, Virginia, but her program management work has taken her outside the continental U.S. to Australia, Canada and Guam with occasional travel to seventeen other countries. Equally active in her community, Ms. Henry has received recognition for her many years of service to Marine Corps Toys for Tots programs as both a corporate and private toy collection site coordinator. Her other charitable initiatives include corporate programs supporting Northern Virginia Family Services. Ms. Henry enabled the establishment of the Fuqua Alumni Club of D.C., where she served several terms as an officer and remains active as a liaison to Fuqua and alumni advisor. In addition to her Duke MBA, Ms. Henry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and both Program Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) professional certifications. Ms. Henry resides in Falls Church, VA, with her husband, Matt, and daughter, Madeline.

Holley, Steve

Class of '02
Oakley Inc., Global Directorof Sales Development (Marketing)

Steve Holley is the Global Director of Sales Development for Oakley, Inc.  In this role, he is responsible for driving the branded consumer experience with the company's 10 regional offices in North America, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa, and Latin America.  His focus includes Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM), customer loyalty strategy, the brand knowledge portal called omatter.com, and all branded sales development programs - in addition to shopper insights, data intelligence, and other strategic growth initiatives for the company.

Prior to working in Sales Development, Mr. Holley worked on the corporate strategy team at Oakley where he led many consumer brand strategy projects for the company - including helping develop the company's annual strategic operating plan process.

Before joining Oakley, Mr. Holley worked in corporate strategy consulting with Kurt Salmon Associates' (KSA) strategy and private equity practices.  At KSA, his focus was on helping consumer products, retail, and omnichannel brands develop consumer-focused growth strategies.  Focus areas included consumer insights, retail shopping experience, product development, marketing brand positioning, data analytics, and retail productivity. 

Mr. Holley has an M.B.A. from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and a Bachelor of Arts from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.

Karrh, Jim

Class of '87
Karrh & Associates, President

Jim Karrh is a consultant, writer and speaker specializing in marketing and sales effectiveness. He serves clients directly through Karrh & Associates and is also a consulting principal with DSG, a sales-enablement firm. For more than a decade Jim has been a regular columnist for Arkansas Business and a guest columnist for many other publications; he published his first book, a collection of his most popular columns, in 2011.

Jim began full-time consulting work in 2009. His prior experience includes work as a small-business owner, consumer researcher and tenured university professor, agency executive and corporate chief marketing officer. As a CMO Jim transformed the marketing efforts of a 133-year-old company and built an integrated program judged best in the global bottled-water industry in 2006.   

In addition to the Duke MBA Jim earned a BS in finance and Ph.D. in mass communication, both from the University of Florida. He resides in Little Rock, Arkansas with his wife Alison and their three sons.

Katch, Amy

Class of '93
Nuance Communications/eScription Bus., Western Regional Sales

Amy is responsible for Nuance Healthcare's eScription Sales on the West Coast, including maintaining relationships with existing customers. She started working with speech recognition applications over six years ago and has since helped both civilian and military healthcare facilities improve transcription operations. Amy also has over ten years of experience working with a variety of internet-based business models (including pioneering internet advertising) in sales, business development and VC funding. Amy's success emanates from educating prospects about disruptive technologies and growing those relationships into long-standing, revenue-generating customers.

Prior to Fuqua, Amy received her B.B.A. in Accounting from The University of Texas at Austin's top-ranked program. She has been a Fuqua  Alumni Admissions interviewer almost since the program's inception and has recently begun interviewing Duke undergraduate candidates as well. Amy's also active in her local community and serves on the Board of the Pacific Palisades Junior Women's Club in the Los Angeles area. In the past few years, Amy has summited Mount Kilimanjaro and Kala Patar, above Everest's Base Camp.

Kaye, Lynne

Class of '82
Unison Advisory Group, Founder and CEO

Chair, Alumni Council

Lynne Kaye is the founder and President of Unison Advisory Group, an environmental and financial sustainability consulting firm.  Her firm helps corporations enhance their product and service offerings and increase their efficiency by improving environmental performance.  Lynne's prior experience includes 18 years in capital markets, most recently as head of the M&A unit for Banc One Capital Markets, and serving as a Board and Executive Compensation consultant with the Hay Group.


Lynne holds a BS from Wake Forest University.  She serves as Co-Chair for the award-winning Loudoun Green Business Challenge and serves on the Corporate Responsibility Officers Association steering committee for government contractor sustainability.  Lynne and her husband Leo Subler (Fuqua class of 1983) live in Northern Virginia.

Kriscovich, Scott

Class of '94
True Bridge Resources, President

Scott Kriscovich has more than 20 years of professional services experience ranging from "Big 4" consultancies to start-up organizations.  He is currently President of TrueBridge Resources, an Atlanta-based provider of Contract, Contract-to-Hire, and Direct Hire Placement services for the Information Technology, Accounting and Finance, Human Capital, and Direct Marketing functions.  Scott helped to start the company in 2008 as a sister company to The North Highland Company, a management consulting company.  Since its launch, TrueBridge has expanded to 8 cities since its launch, positioning itself for companies' increased reliance on professional contingent staffing.  And Scott is looking forward to TrueBridge having an RTP presence soon.
Prior to starting TrueBridge Resources, he served as the Market Leader for the Atlanta office of Accretive Solutions. His experience as a Senior Manager at Deloitte includes Large-Scale Systems Implementation; Mergers, Acquisitions and Divestitures; Electronic Commerce; and Supply Chain and Financial Process Redesign. Scott's prior experience includes positions with Accenture and Ford Motor Company. 
Scott holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. He and his wife, Ann, live in Marietta, GA with their three volleyball coaching and playing daughters:  Hannah, a HS junior; Mary Kate, a freshman; and Megan who is in seventh grade.  Scott is active in the Career Ministry at St. Ann Church, providing job search guidance and advice on working with external recruiters, and with the local Notre Dame and Duke Alumni Organizations.

Lane, Tom

Class of '90
The Center for Intentional Leadership, Partner

Tom Lane is a Partner at The Center for Intentional Leadership, a management consulting firm that specializes in leadership and organizational culture development to help clients produce breakthrough results in performance.  Clients include Balfour Beatty Belk, Coca-Cola Consolidated, Duke Energy, Harris Teeter, Haskell, Lance-Snyder and Time Warner Cable.

Prior to joining The Center for Intentional Leadership in 2005 Tom was a Senior Vice President of UVEST Financial Services, and a Senior Vice President at Bank of America.  Before earning his MBA at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business, Tom worked on Wall Street at Morgan Stanley and Dean Witter.

Tom is passionate about caring for Charlotte's most vulnerable children.   He provides pro bono consulting services to non-profits who serve children; he serves on the board of directors for Classroom Central; and mentors at Alexander Youth Network.

Tom is a big fan of Duke Basketball and NY sports teams, practices yoga regularly, and does something uncomfortable a few times a year just to keep things interesting.
