The Duke MBA Fall Career Expos
The Duke MBA Career Management Center will host 8 Career Expos aligned along 4 functional and/or industry interests during the fall. These expos will be smaller format (~ 8 companies per event) and give you the option of conducting a 20-minute company presentation in a private room during your visit. The Expos will be followed by a networking reception for companies and students. These expos are designed for companies that have a fairly well-established brand with The Duke MBA student body and wish to be very targeted towards students with specific career interests. The functional/industry interests are as follows:
For financial services firms and companies specifically recruiting for the finance function.
Because there is often overlapping interest from our health care students in consulting, we decided to combine these 2 focus areas for one expo. General consulting firms are encouraged and welcome to participate; this is not just for health care consulting. We also encourage the participation of companies who wish to specifically target students in the HSM program or who have a specific interest in the health care field.
For companies seeking to hire students in marketing, brand or product management functions.
For companies seeking to hire students into general management positions including operations and supply chain.
For companies whose opportunity is a mixture of these functions or who wish to reach a broader audience.
You may request presentation or office hour timeslots through Recruit@Duke. Your account manager will review your request and assign a date and time with consideration for other events that have been already scheduled. We will not schedule corporate presentations for companies from the same industry at the same time slot so that students are not forced to choose between companies.
