Although entrepreneurship and innovation are recognized as key drivers of economic growth and the foundation of sustainable competitive advantage, current research in these areas is fragmented and not of uniformly high quality. There is an opportunity to create a fundamental understanding of entrepreneurship and innovation by creating a synthesis and general framework from the disparate threads of current research, augmented by focused contributions to individual research topics. This is the primary research objective of the center.
