Doctoral Research Support Program

The COLE Doctoral Research Support Program is designed for Duke doctoral students to support and promote research related to the topics of leadership and ethics. Applications will be judged based on the intellectual merit, scope, and potential impact of the research on COLE's mission.

Each Academic year, COLE provides awards of up to $1,000. Qualified applicants are able to apply for support in the Fall and Spring of each academic year. Applications for Spring 2009 are due by May 15, 2009.

WHO SHOULD APPLY?
Duke University doctoral students, whose research contributes to the understanding of leadership and ethics issues. Applicants must be advanced graduate students with all degree requirements met except dissertation.

Because of the nature of the program, monetary awards should not be used to support teaching, instrumentation, or non-research projects.
