Perspective
As a first year, I was the FY Chair of Sales and Trading. Here, I was able to help my peers prepare for Sales & Trading interviews. I enjoyed this experience very much and as such wanted to continue helping students and improve the Finance experience at Fuqua for other students as one of the club's Co-Presidents.

The Center for Financial Excellence assists Fuqua's students in gaining the knowledge and developing the applied skill sets necessary to launch successful careers in finance. Consistent with its core mission, the Center works closely with students to expand foundational classroom learning to a deeper understanding of overall financial excellence and industry best practices. Specifically, through its boot camps, workshops and other programs, the Center connects students directly with leading finance practitioners in profound and educationally meaningful ways. Industry practitioners at varying levels of seniority regularly engage with students to bridge academic concepts with applied financial practices, explain finance jobs roles and responsibilities, and relate experiential insights.

Further, the Center collaborates with student clubs, including the Finance, Private Equity and Asset Management Clubs, and assists the clubs' leadership in identifying practitioner engagement opportunities and developing educational programs and activities.
The Center's Executive Director also holds student office hours to provide a private forum for students to discuss finance profession roles and responsibilities, advanced learning and mentorships opportunities, and summer internship and full-time job considerations
