Chicago Speed Networking Night/Crafting Your Elevator Pitch Presented by Karie Davis, Kellogg Alumni Career Services Our most popular workshops, presented in 12 cities and 5 countries, is coming back to Chicago. You will have the opportunity to create and deliver your elevator pitch to a small group of 8-10 people at your round table, receive feedback, network with other MBA alumni, and trade company names and contacts. This event is very structured, so you don’t have to worry about how to approach people and what to say. It’s great for alumni who are uncomfortable with networking and for alumni who are in a job search or trying to gain new clients or investors. Participants who attended this session had the following comments: “Good to get a number of opinions and constructive criticism to improve my pitch” “Outstanding. A great opportunity to practice with others” We’ll spend: • 30 minutes crafting your elevator pitch on our worksheet • 90 minutes speed networking • 30 minutes informal networking Bring lots of business cards and a sense of humor.
