London, UK: The 2 Hour Job Search
Thursday April 11, 2013
6:30PM - 9:00PM
Duke London Offices | 165 Fleet Street | London EC$A 2DY
The Fuqua School of Business and Duke in Europe would like to invite you to an evening with Steve Dalton, Daytime '04, as he explores "The 2-Hour Job Search". If you are conducting a networking-based job search but are a bit overwhelmed about where and how to start, this is the right workshop for you. "The 2-Hour Job Search" splits the networking-based job search into three main components: prioritizing targets, outreach, and informational interviews. It's a cutting-edge framework for using technology to find the right job faster. This workshop is ideal for those looking to make their search more efficient and effective.
Steve Dalton is a senior career consultant and associate director in the Career Management Center. Prior to entering the career services industry, Steve was an associate marketing manager at General Mills and a strategy consultant at A.T. Kearney. His book about the process, The 2-Hour Job Search, was published by Random House on March 6, 2012. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Duke's Regional Director for Europe Alexis Mellon on firstname.lastname@example.org.
