7:30AM - 9:00AM
Park City Club
Get your day started right with your fellow Duke alums and friends at the Dallas Business Breakfast.
This quarter, our featured speaker is Suzanne N. Smith MBA '08, Founder and Managing Director of Dallas-based Social Impact Architects and Adjunct Professor at UNT Denton. She is a 2008 graduate from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business where she was selected as the CASE Scholar and continues to serve as a Research Fellow and on the Alumni Council.
Suzanne is a serial social entrepreneur with a unique perspective as a "bridger" between government, non-profit, and business. In follow-up to our outstanding breakfast in October on education, Suzanne will give us her insights on the latest thinking and trends in the social sector. In this TED-style talk, learn how the sector is shifting and what you can do now to help North Texas be a leader in social change. In the meantime, you can follow Suzanne through her blog, Social TrendSpotter, or via Twitter @socialtrendspot.
We’ll be offering a delicious warm breakfast and plenty of juice and coffee at 7:30 a.m. Ms. Smith will begin speaking promptly at 8 a.m. and we’ll conclude at 9 a.m. freeing you to get on with your day.
Bring a friend or colleague, but seating is limited, and registration of $15 per person will close on Tuesday, February 4th at 5 p.m.
