Relevant Topics for Executive Leaders

The 2009 Conference will explore key perspectives and skills that participants need to lead effectively in today's uncertain times:

  • Competing as a 21st Century business among 20th Century giants: the necessity of a new organizational structure
  • Leading through organized chaos: staying true to your mission while adapting for change and uncertainty
  • Cultivating a culture of right and left-brained thinkers: building a united workforce of creative and technical employees
  • Leading the creative enterprise: generating progressive ideas and utilizing innovative technologies
  • Leading the next generation of workers and customers: leveraging the power of social media and social networks

The format of this interactive conference includes keynote and plenary sessions featuring over 15 leaders across various industries including finance, consulting, sports, entertainment, government, and technology. All sessions are moderated by Duke faculty and scholars, and are designed to allow participants to easily learn and interact with the speakers and from one another.
