


The 2010 Conference will define a new leadership landscape for participants and spotlight the types of leadership skills that are needed to deal with current realities.
The format of this interactive conference includes keynote and plenary sessions featuring over 15 leaders across various industries including finance, consulting, sports, entertainment, government, and technology. All sessions are moderated by Duke faculty and scholars, and are designed to allow participants to easily learn and interact with the speakers and from one another.

Boards are becoming more diverse in terms of characteristic and expertise in order to respond to more complex and diverse world.
Boards often operate as a black box even for those who are members. The ability to lead boards and lead from boards requires working that black box more transparently in order to become more effective.

Leveraging global operations mean dealing with increasingly diverse, challenging expectations. Leading in today's global environment involves anticipating these changes and helping those you lead learn to thrive in them. Media Leadership Equals Making Sense of The Changing Game
We live in the most media-saturated time in history, with more information than we could possible absorb available in every conceivable form and location, all of help us understand the our world. At the same time, the leaders in media organizations are also responsible for helping the members of their organization understand and adapt to current and future changes. New technologies, new customers and new regulations are issues for every industry. Media organizations are ahead of the curve in having to confront these issues.
