In response to current developments in corporate governance, the Duke Global Capital Markets Center is pleased to announce that it is now offering an on-site Directors' Education program. The program is designed to precede or follow a regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Directors and is typically offered over a single day at the client's location. The intended audience includes board members, senior executive officers, corporate secretaries, and legal counsel.

The program is tailored to meet the specific educational needs of directors and is designed in collaboration with the company's senior executive officers, with input from board members as appropriate. Designed to be an interactive session focusing on directors' duties and responsibilities in light of Sarbanes-Oxley and the NYSE listing standards, the program includes discussion and implementation of "best practices" that facilitate compliance and assist the board in making sound business judgments.
