Duke - The Fuqua School of Business

Learning Environment

Business does not exist in a vacuum. To become a true leader of consequence, you must understand the context surrounding and the ramifications of your business decisions. This MBA degree program prepares you to do just that.

At Fuqua, you not only master the fundamentals of business, but also learn how to apply that knowledge in a responsible way and in a live setting, working across functional areas, industry boundaries, and geographic borders.

Meet Sections and Teams

By combining classroom instruction with applied learning opportunities, you'll be challenged to excel as a leader and team player within all cultures and be prepared to have a positive impact.

Each Duke MBA class is divided into 6 sections of approximately 70 students. Each section attends orientation, Global Institute, and all core MBA courses as a cohort. Within a section, you are grouped with 4-5 other MBA students with whom you complete team-based assignments for courses, drawing on the team's collective knowledge, experiences and cultures to broaden your learning experience.
