At Fuqua, you are not alone in your job search. Our career coaches are dedicated to helping you find the career and work experience that fulfills you as a professional, individual, and leader. Your goal is our mission, and all job search resources are available to you the moment you begin your MBA degree program.
Our professional career coaches are committed to your success and take a personal approach to your job search needs. They are accessible during small group workshops, class section meetings, leadership communication sessions, and for one-on-one coaching.
At least one coach is always available for students who have quick questions or emergency situations. For example, if you receive a job offer and are only given a short amount of time to respond, a coach will be available to talk through your options and to help alleviate your anxieties.
MBA Peer Coaching
In addition to working with the CMC's full-time coaches, you will also benefit from peer career coaching. Our flagship Career Fellows program provides student-to-student support. Career Fellows are second-year MBA students who coach first-year students during the internship search. They review resumes and cover letters, conduct mock interviews, and share insights and contacts from their own network. Students are encouraged to join small job search teams that meet regularly with a CMC coach who acts as a facilitator. The regular check-ins provide a forum for sharing advice, support, and resources.
