In the wake of unprecedented growth in global demand and ever-pressing environmental issues, industry experts agree that the energy sector is at a crossroads. This challenge inspired the Energy for Tomorrow program, where top business school students from around the world were asked to submit their ideas for a sustainable energy future.

Moderated by TIME and Fortune editor Michael Elliott, this important panel held at Duke University's Fuqua School of Business discussed what can and must be done to accelerate innovation.
