you are > finding your dream job
“You can truly leave a legacy at Fuqua because it’s so open to student involvement,” says Rachel Ledford ’05, who made her mark as co-president of Fuqua’s Association of Women in Business. She and fellow club members launched Fuqua’s fi rst all-women admissions event on campus, a Super Saturday packed with programming, that was so successful it’s now an ongoing part of the admissions budget. They also organized a Women of the World dinner series, a Women in Leadership speaker series (securing a $10,000 grant from Citigroup to support it) and helped undergraduates start their own club chapter, among other things. “As I’ve been interviewing I’ve found that recruiters really want to hear the stories of how we pursued our passions,” she says. “My involvement in various Fuqua clubs has been very helpful in my job search, but it’s even more exciting to know that I’ve helped create something that will be a part of this school for a long time.”
