The Admissions Committee will conduct campus visits and interviews from October 1, 2007, through April 8, 2008. All campus interviews are scheduled using Duke’s online scheduling system.
Campus interviews and visits are offered each weekday EXCEPT Wednesday, when classes are not in session. Interviews begin on the hour starting at 9:00 am through 4:00 pm. For your convenience, we also offer a limited number of Saturday interviews.
Campus interview space is limited and fills quickly. As soon as you determine the application round in which you will apply, you may schedule your interview and campus visit. Please adhere to the interview deadlines established for each application round posted in the application instructions. For planning purposes, you cannot schedule an interview or visit less than fourteen days in advance. Once you have completed the online scheduling process, you will receive an e-mail confirmation within twenty-four hours. Please print this confirmation for your records.
Prior to scheduling your campus visit, check with airlines for possible flight arrival times to Raleigh Durham International Airport (RDU). Duke University is located approximately 25 minutes from RDU. We recommend that you complete your campus activities at least two hours before your departing flight from RDU.
The online scheduling system will enable you to indicate an interest in visiting a class, attending a Distinguished Speaker Series, tour the facilities, and have a complimentary lunch with current students. Class visits and Distinguished Speaker Series are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Due to limited space, you may only attend one class during your visit. The Distinguished Speaker Series is also limited to space and subject to change. Once you arrive on campus and have checked in with the admissions office, you may sign up for a class and/or Distinguished Speaker Series open to visitors that day. Class visits are 1 1/4 hours. Visitors must be on time for class and Distinguished Speaker Series and remain in the classroom/ auditorium until the assigned break. Please note that class visits and Distinguished Speaker Series are tentatively scheduled and not guaranteed for any visitor
The online scheduling system will enable you to indicate an interest in touring the facilities, attending an informational student panel, and a complimentary lunch with current students. Additional afternoon programming is offered by a spectrum of MBA Association clubs from diverse functional areas, industries, cultures, and interests. These student-led programming offers prospective students an opportunity to interact with current students, learn more about The Duke MBA community, and the ways the MBA Association supports the needs and development of students. The entire Duke community shares a long-standing commitment to diversity. Thus, afternoon programming is open to all visitors regardless of their background, who share this interest.

Evaluative interviews are an excellent way to present a different view of your credentials to a member of the admissions committee. All applicants to our program are encouraged to complete an interview as part of the assessment process. Members of the admissions committee, which includes admissions staff, admissions fellows (select second year students), and alumni, conduct interviews. All interviews are evaluated equally regardless of the location or interviewer.
All candidates are encouraged to come to campus for an interview. If you choose to visit our campus, in addition to the interview, you will have the opportunity to meet with current students, attend a class, and tour our first-rate facilities. All campus interviews are scheduled using Fuqua’s online scheduling system.
Alumni interviews are only available to applicants who reside outside of the U.S. and Canada and in selected cities on the West Coast. To schedule an alumni interview, candidates must make their request on the interview section of the online application. Alumni interviews will not be scheduled prior to submission of your application. If you choose to have an alumni interview, you will not be eligible for a campus interview; however, you are welcome to visit our campus, meet our students, and participate in a tour and class visit. Alumni interviews are conducted based on the availability of alumni and typically last 30 to 45 minutes. All interviews are conducted in English.
Your partner (significant other) is welcome to visit Duke with you. Please indicate in the appropriate section if your partner will accompany you. Once you have scheduled your interview, a representative of the Fuqua Partners Organization will contact your partner via e-mail with additional information for the day of your visit. Due to limited space, we kindly ask partners to refrain from attending the class visit.
If you are unable to visit Duke on your scheduled day and time and need to cancel or reschedule, please use our online scheduling system to modify your schedule. If you re-schedule your visit, your new date cannot be scheduled less than 14 days in advance. For cancellations that are within 48 hours of your visit, please cancel your visit using our online scheduling system and call the office of admissions at (919) 660-7705. By notifying us, we may offer your schedule to another candidate.
