Master of Management Studies: Foundations of Business
As we meet with companies across the country and around the world, it's clear that businesses seek, but do not always find, that well-educated young person who can immediately add value-the one with realistic expectations but also the capacity to grow with company demands. The MMS program prepares students for success in entry-level positions, focusing on the functions of finance, marketing, operations, consulting, and general management as taught by Fuqua's award-winning faculty. It's the only pre-experience masters offered within a top-10 US graduate business school. Graduates have gone on to career success in a diverse range of companies generally starting in analyst level positions.

The first year includes 10 core courses and 5 or more electives-a unique sequence that allows students to explore a particular area in-depth, which gives them a competitive advantage in their chosen functions and industries during their summer internships. The program provides a rigorous academic experience-both in and out of the classroom. During their second year, Daytime students take only elective courses, allowing them to further specialize in a select area of study. Formal classes are augmented by a myriad of practicum opportunities, independent studies, global academic travel experiences and internships that further enhance their experience and prepare them to be global leaders of consequence.
Cross Continent MBA
Tailored to full-time working professionals, the program builds more than global awareness; it provides the necessary real-world experience to build global competence. The 16-month format includes residencies here in Durham, as well as in Dubai, India, China, and Russia. Students also have access to a variety of electives and may specialize in an optional concentration including Energy and Environment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Health Sector Management.
Weekend Executive MBA
Students spend 20 intense months strengthening core business skills, including the opportunity to participate in a global academic travel experience. Students also have access to a variety of electives and may specialize in an optional concentration including Energy and Environment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Health Sector Management.
Global Executive MBA
Recognized as the world's first global MBA program for senior executives, students participate in 15 months of focused study that combines global residencies with distance education for a truly innovative experience that integrates learning from contrasting economies. Students also have access to a variety of electives and may specialize in an optional concentration including Energy and Environment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Marketing, Strategy, and Health Sector Management.
