Duke - The Fuqua School of Business

Engagement & Experiential Learning

Tap into the business world in both the US and China while still learning the ropes. Classroom and team experiences are key to launching your career, but applying what you've learned to real-world situations is essential. Get an in-depth look into business with company visits and access to leading corporate executives in both the US and China, who you'll meet to discuss the state of business. To take a front row seat in any industry you must first understand the landscape, and understanding comes with hands-on experience.

  • What they are: Leading companies present you with case studies related to company and industry challenges.

Previous students have: Worked with Burt's Bees, a leading natural personal care products company, on the launch of a new toothpaste.

  • What they are: Visit companies in selected cities in the US and China to meet with executives and/or Duke alumni and learn about employment opportunities.

You'll get out of the MMS: DKU program what you put into it. Students who rise to the occasion are more likely to shine as professionals, too.
