The Fuqua School of Business Climbs Four Spots in Forbes Survey
September 25, 2001
Durham, NC -Duke University's Fuqua School of Business climbed up four spots to No. 11 in Forbes magazine's annual ranking of business schools and their return on investments. Fuqua was among the 25 national schools ranked in the survey.
Forbes surveyed 104 business school and 20,000 graduates in the class of 1996. They measured students' compensation from the year before they entered business school, the tuition cost and their compensation upon graduating. Forbes calculated and compared the total of five years' pay with a projection of what the median student would have earned for those five years without an MBA.
The rankings also include 12 international and 25 regional business schools.
The article "The Best Bang for the Buck" and the complete lists of schools ranked can be found in the October 15, 2001 edition of Forbes magazine or at www.forbes.com.
