Duke Ranks No. 6 in Best Business Schools for Hispanics by Hispanic Business Magazine
September 18, 2005
"The school reaches out to Hispanic students early through programs such as LEAD, in which high school juniors and seniors attend a summer program to develop business plans. The Duke MBA Workshop for Minority Applicants is held each fall to give prospective students an overview of national MBA programs from the admission process to the career and job search. The Black and Latino MBA Organization partners with the admissions office to serve as host for the three-day workshop. The diversity pipeline continues with programs such as the Riordan Fellows, Management Leadership for Tomorrow, and the MBA Diversity Alliance. The Duke MBA experience does not end with graduation: Many alumni are actively engaged in the recruitment of minority students."
