Duke to Host African Health Management Faculty
August 31, 2007
Two faculty fellows from African business schools will soon travel to Fuqua and UCLA’s Anderson School of Business to pursue research and course development projects related to health management as part of the Johnson & Johnson Health Management Fellowship program. The goal of the program is for fellows to create new health management courses, research and teaching materials for use in their home institutions.
While at Duke the fellows will have access to classes across the university, including in the Health Sector Management program. They will also have access to the resources of the Duke Clinical Research Institute and Duke’s Global Health Institute. The fellows will be supported by a group of Duke faculty members, led by Professor Will Mitchell, who will act as mentors and help provide support for research and teaching activities.
