Duke University (Duke's Fuqua School of Business, Duke Corporate Education, the Duke Islamic Studies Center) is proud to have been selected as the academic partner for the Jeddah Economic Forum, known as the Middle East's most influential gathering of business and government leaders.

International, local and regional leaders from the private and public sectors convene annually at the Forum in Jeddah to address global and regional economic, political, and social trends; to present manageable and sustainable solutions to current and future challenges confronting Saudi Arabia, the Middle East, and the global community; and to enhance cooperation and working relationships among economic, social, and political leaders and organizations. The topic of this year's Forum is "Value Creation through Alliances & Partnerships" and confirmed speakers include Alan Greenspan, Sir Richard Branson, Dean Blair Sheppard, George Soros, Retired U.S. Army General Barry McCaffrey, and Economic Nobel Prize co-winner Eric Maskin.
