Chatterji Honored with Kauffman Foundation Fellowship

Jan. 12, 2009 - Duke Strategy Professor Aaron Chatterji has received a Kauffman Junior Faculty Fellowship in Entrepreneurship Research from The Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.
Chatterji received one of five, $50,000 fellowships awarded to tenured or tenure-track junior faculty members whose research has the potential to make significant contributions to the body of literature in entrepreneurship. The Fellowships were presented at the Allied Social Science Associations' annual meeting in San Francisco on Jan. 3, 2009.
"This program will help launch a cohort of world-class faculty, thus laying the foundation for future scientific advancement," said Robert J. Strom, Ph.D., director of Entrepreneurship Research & Policy at the Foundation. "The research produced by these fine scholars will be translated into knowledge with application for policymakers, educators, service providers and entrepreneurs."
A member of the Strategy group at The Fuqua School of Business, Chatterji's research interests include entrepreneurship, innovation, and the expanding social mission of business.
