Bloom Honored with AMA Lifetime Achievement Award

Award recognizes Bloom's significant contributions to the field of social impact marketing and research.

August 12, 2010

Paul Bloom, Faculty Director of Fuqua’s Center for the Advancement of Social Entrepreneurship (CASE), is the 2010-2011 recipient of an American Marketing Association Lifetime Achievement Award.  The honor, given by the AMA’s Marketing and Society special interest group, recognizes Bloom’s significant contributions to the field of social impact marketing and research.

“Throughout his long career, Paul has pioneered the use of marketing tools and theories to increase consumer welfare as well as firm profitability,” said Mary Frances Luce, Fuqua’s Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs. “This approach has not only gained popularity in the marketing field, it also exemplifies CASE’s important mission and Fuqua's more general quest to produce leaders of consequence.”

Bloom will receive the award August 14 at the Summer AMA Educators Conference in Boston.
