Duke Research Featured in President's Annual Economic Report to Congress

Duke research demonstrating the negative effects of the recent credit crisis on firms' abilities to conduct business was cited in the 2010 Economic Report of the President.
Professors John Graham and Cam Harvey, working with Murillo Campello of the University of Illinois, surveyed more than 1,000 firms in December 2008 to determine their access to, and use of, credit. The results yielded important evidence of how the crisis affected companies' operational and investment decisions. More details about the research are available here.
