Interviews and Campus Visits
We hope you have the opportunity to visit our Durham campus to see The Duke MBA program firsthand. However, we understand that many of you will be unable to visit Duke's campus until later in the admission process. For this reason, we bring The Duke MBA experience a little closer to you through Fuqua-sponsored Information Sessions, MBA Fairs, and other events that are held nationally and internationally. These events are for your information and are non-evaluative. If you have not yet done so, please add yourself to The Duke MBA mailing list to receive information about events in your area.
Information Sessions
The Office of Admissions invites you and your partner/spouse to attend our Information Sessions, which are hosted across the United States and around the world. Learn more about our programs by attending an Information Session, which includes open forums with our admissions staff, Fuqua students, and alumni. View a list of upcoming Information Sessions and register online to attend.
Diversity Events
These events specifically address the unique needs of women, minorities, and the LGBT community. These events offer prospective Daytime MBA students the opportunity to meet admissions representatives, gain valuable insight into the admissions and financial aid process, and to talk with alumni about their lives and career choices. These events have limited availability, and as such are offered by invitation only. Please visit the event websites for more details.
| Date | Location | Event |
| November 19 - 22, 2009 | Durham, NC | The Duke MBA Workshop for Minority Applicants |
| December 3 - 6, 2009 | Durham, NC | The Duke MBA Weekend for Women |
MBA Fairs
Fairs are sponsored by organizations that focus on graduate management education. These events provide prospective applicants with the opportunity to investigate various MBA programs and speak with admissions staff, current students or alumni from each of the schools in attendance. We invite you to seek us out at these events to learn more about The Duke MBA.
Some fairs focus on particular groups. The following symbols are used in the chart below to denote these groups:
- Denotes an event open to all prospective students that will specifically address issues and concerns relating to women in business.
- Denotes an event open to all prospective students that will specifically address issues and concerns relating to underrepresented minorities in business.
- Denotes events where a representative of the Health Sector Management program will be in attendance. Prospective students with or without health care experience are welcome to attend and learn more about the Duke MBA health care program.
