"Fuqua has given so much to me, I can never give enough back. It's amazing … I went from cars to health care, and the bridge that got me there was Fuqua."

Globalize your perspective and the way you work. Get ready to rethink the boundaries of business through rich learning experiences that maximize the value of your and your classmates' backgrounds. From the cohort-based structure that mimics a team-oriented corporate environment to our instructional design and global curriculum, we teach you how to become a leader and integrated thinker who is able to tackle today's complex global business world.
The Highest Standards
The Global Executive program uses the same Bloomberg Businessweek #1 ranked faculty, the same rigorous curriculum and grading standards, and provides the same Duke degree as Fuqua's other MBA programs.
Executive-level Global Academics
Global Executive MBA courses are tailored to include global and advanced content to serve a cohort of senior executives who have global leadership responsibilities. The curriculum also connects to the regions in which you will study, so the regions come to life through in-depth analyses of cultures, business institutions, and corporate interactions. Throughout a term, your teams will study, discuss, and experience the way in which region-specific institutions, markets, cultures, and civilizations both enhance and hinder international commerce.
60/40 Classroom Split
Sixty percent of classroom time takes place face-to-face during residencies in the US, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East and 40 percent of class time is done during distance periods, which helps you balance work, school and life obligations simultaneously.
Personal Leadership Development
Working with a personal leadership coach throughout the program, you will explore and enhance your own leadership skills and personal development. By the end of the program, you'll have both the skills, frameworks, and context required to successfully run a global business.
Apply What You Learn
The curriculum and format are designed so you can immediately apply what you learn in school to your work. One of many examples of this can be found with our decision sciences course called Statistical Models for the Global Executive. For many students, that course completely changes the way they approach important work decisions and many have said that they immediately used what they learned in the class to avoid making a costly decision or to help make a profitable one.
