Earning an MBA is a significant investment, but we are committed to making The Duke MBA accessible to all qualified candidates. Some students receive full or partial financial support from their employers and finance any remainder through personal means and/or financial aid. Additionally, applicants will be considered for merit-based scholarships while funds are available, so we encourage you to apply early.

 

Costs

For the class beginning in 2013 and graduating in 2014:

Standard Costs

Tuition
$113,600 USD

Tuition includes books, fees, class materials, and lodging and meals at the R. David Thomas Executive Conference Center during the program residencies. Tuition does not include travel to and from the residential sessions, or a laptop computer.

Tuition Deposit
$2,500 USD

A non-refundable deposit is due upon admission to the program and will be applied toward your first term's bill. 

Optional Costs

Fuqua Managed Laptop
$1,500 USD

Includes laptop, software, and pre-configuration needed for the Weekend Executive MBA program, periodic software upgrades, hardware maintenance, insurance, security updates, and technical support.

Concentrations
$4,000 USD

This additional tuition fee applies to concentrations in Energy and Environment, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance, Marketing, and Strategy. Learn more about concentrations on the Curriculum page.

Health Sector Management (HSM) Certificate
$6,000 USD

This additional tuition fee will be required to receive the Health Sector Management certificate.

Global Academic Travel Experience (GATE)
Variable cost

Study the business, culture, economy, and politics of a country/region, and then travel to that region, accompanied by faculty, for approximately two weeks. Once there, you'll be exposed to international business by visiting multinational corporations, local enterprises, government agencies, and exchange program partner schools. You'll also have the opportunity to interact with alumni in the region.
