Health Sector Management
The Duke MBA: Weekend Executive

The Duke MBA–Weekend Executive HSM concentration is ideal for working health care professionals who want to maintain their competitive edge in today’s business environment through a strong core MBA foundation that provides a comprehensive understanding of the health sector.

Program design

In the Weekend Executive program, classes meet on alternate weekends on the Durham, North Carolina campus. This format allows students to continue full-time work while earning the Duke MBA—and to immediately apply their new knowledge and skills on the job.

The HSM concentration is completed within the same twenty-month period as the Weekend Executive program and does not increase the time required to earn the Duke MBA degree.

Our curriculum allows students to expand their global management perspectives, think strategically, and strengthen their essential leadership skills alongside fellow business leaders. Our HSM students also interact with their peers in the Daytime and Global Executive programs as well as alumni returning to pursue the HSM certificate.
