Tuition Agreements



Duke Medical School - MBA/MD program

For MBA/MD students who start at Fuqua on or before Fall 2010: Students must pay one year of full tuition at The Fuqua School of Business and four years of full tuition at the School of Medicine. The School of Medicine will remit a portion of one year's tuition during the student's fourth year to Fuqua to pay for any remaining MBA courses. Financial aid will be processed through the School of Medicine.                          
 
For MBA/MD students who start at Fuqua on or after Fall 2011: Students will pay three semesters of tuition at The Fuqua School of Business and four years of full tuition at the School of Medicine. Students will complete two years at the School of Medicine and then attend a full year at Fuqua during their third year.  The fourth year of the program will be split with courses at both Fuqua and the School of Medicine, and the student will pay tuition to both schools. The fifth year will be exclusively at the School of Medicine.

The School of Medicine will process financial aid for the first two and last two years of this five year dual degree program.  For the first year of the MBA program, students will apply to Fuqua for financial aid. For the second year of the MBA program, students will apply to the School of Medicine financial aid program and will be federal loan-eligible for the additional Fuqua tuition as the fourth year cost of attendance will be adjusted to reflect the combined tuition.

Nicholas School of Environment and Earth Science - MEM/MBA and MF/MBA programs

MEM/MBA and MF/MBA/MF students pay a special combined tuition for this program. It is slightly higher than Nicholas School tuition and lower than Fuqua's tuition. Students pay the special combined tuition every semester regardless of where courses are taken.  Financial aid will be processed through the school that you start with.

School of Law - JD/MBA program

 

JD/MBA students pay a special combined tuition for this program.  It is slightly higher than Law tuition and lower than Fuqua's tuition.  The tuition is shared by the School of Law and The Fuqua School of Business and is paid every semester regardless of where courses are taken.

Financial aid will be processed through the School of Law.

School of Nursing - MSN/MBA program

Students are required to pay four full semesters of Fuqua's tuition, and tuition for twenty-four credit hours at the School of Nursing. Financial aid will be processed through the school that you start with.

Sanford School of Public Policy - MPP/MBA

Students will pay three semesters of Fuqua tuition for this program. Financial aid will be processed through the school that you start with.
